Overview

This year’s Experian Annual Sales Summit was different from all its predecessors — it was the first to incorporate all the new companies Experian had acquired throughout the year that would make up its latest division, Experian Employer Services.

For many in attendance, it would be their first time meeting their new team members from other companies, giving rise to the need for this year’s theme to be inclusive and mold-breaking.

Execution

After considering a creative matrix of several possible themes and designs, we decided upon “One Team, One Dream,” referencing the 2022 Olympics as a source of inspiration.

We extrapolated Experian’s signature data-art swoosh into the flow of a ribbon, alluding to a waving banner for everyone to rally behind.

A PowerPoint template with inspiring grandiose images of athletes throughout reinforced the visuals and created a consistent sequence of presentations throughout the day, making sure every new company leader that presented was united in their design and mission to work as part of a new, specialized Experian Employer Services (EES) team.

We continued to bring this theme to life throughout the conference by creating branded athletic jackets, shirts, bags, and medals that unified participants and producing a series of videos that gave our efforts a new dimension on the big screen.

The EES videos included a fun Office Olympics satire that we shot an Experian HQ and had voiceovers for, showing everyone in EES as competitors playing on behalf of the same team to win. In addition to this, we also had a series of virtual interviews with EES team members, all answering the same question, which we edited into a loop to play throughout the day. Lastly, we had a conference pump-up video that animated the thematic ribbons throughout the sequences and included an inspiring speech by Simon Sinek on team unity and cohesion.

The overall takeaway from the conference was uplifting, with participants excited to move forward in the year ahead, together.
